I made this
roller box several years ago when my children were still in Primary. As you can see, it shows a bit of wear and
tear from use, but it has held up remarkably well. I roll the pages up as we sing the song
“The Wise Man and the Foolish Man,” p. 281. Since I made
this before we were “high tech,” I drew and colored the pictures freehand
from graphics I found in “The Friend.” The
roller box is made out of a cereal box with paper towel cardboard
rollers. I covered it all with
decorative contact paper, and I covered the pictures with clear contact paper
to preserve them. I thought it
might be a lot of trouble to go to make this, but it has been well worth the
effort. I have used this over and
over. Plus, I have used other songs and stories, too. Children love it! --DeeAnn Stone |
